Cinematographer Sarah W.P. Anderson
Anderson was born and raised in Washington, DC, in a consciousness-raising household, attending bilingual school during the week and marches and protests on the weekends. Photography has been a consistent passion throughout her life. After realizing the power of moving pictures, Anderson received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media from Clark University, in Massachusetts in 2005, and received Advanced Cinematography training at NYU SCPS, as well as several other Cinematography courses and workshops. Sarah WP Anderson founded Starling Camera in 2015 and owns and operates a Canon C300 mkii. She is an expert at lighting subjects and proficient at operating a number of camera bodies. In addition to Cinematography and lighting, skills also include knowledge of Final Cut Pro, AVID, Premiere, After Effects, and Photoshop.
Anderson is also a skilled photographer (digital and darkroom).
